Sinus

Sinus is a series of shallow luminaires in a classic design which are suitable for most environments, such as corridors, receptions, exhibition areas, hotels, etc. Sinus can be used both as a ceiling and a wall luminaire. Sinus is offered in white or grey, with a diffuser of opal acrylic. It is available with dimming and an integrated emergency lighting unit.

Sinus with sensor
Sinus is available with built-in presence detector in two different versions; ON/OFF operating with standard electronic ballast and MIN/MAX operating with dimmable electronic ballast.

The ON/OFF version turns the light on when detector is triggered and turns the light off, after a delay time, when the room is unoccupied.

The MIN/MAX version dims the light down from 100% to 10% output, after a delay time, when the room is unoccupied, and rapidly back to 100% when the detector is triggered.

Master/slave functionality
Both sensor versions can control a group of other Sinus luminaires.

Index House

index_landscapeoffice_534x295_300dpi

The landmark 17-storey Index House in Oslo is an award-winning concrete structure with a central location in Norway’s capital.  A complete refurbishing was undertaken in 2008-2009. A main challenge was transforming a rather dark concrete structure into a light and airy modern office building. In order to achieve this, structural changes were made in order to let in more daylight. In addition, all floors were equipped with a large number of recessed  “Modul” luminaires, creating fields of imitation daylight.
