Glamox D20 is a popular family with a wide range of circular and square shaped downlights. Available in different sizes, wattages and light sources. Advanced reflector technology provides efficient energy utilization. Designed as a complete plug and play solution making installation and connection easy. Additional optics and a wide range of décor options, make it easy to customize the solution to different environments. Supplied with a unique feature for changing the ballast. D20 is always delivered with a dust cover for protection during the building period.
D20-R175 is a recessed circular Ø175 downlight for compact fluorescent lamps.
Manufactured with Polycarbonate body (PC), with fitted nylon (PA) housing for electrical components. D20 can be delivered with separate component housing for various emergency lighting systems, light control functions and ballast for separate connection of light sources.
The reflector is available in matt (SM), high gloss (SI) or faceted high gloss (SF) surface/finish.
Additional equipment like cross and turbo-louvre, numerous décor elements and cover rings can be mounted without demounting the downlight. Please note that the accessories must be ordered separately.
D20-R175 can be delivered with different emergency lighting systems.

The key goal on this particular project was for a one stop solution and supply for all the non teaching areas. Decorative and energy efficient luminaires were the clients requirements, so using a variety of product families such as the A20 P & S, D20's for corridors and break-out areas, along with specialist sports hall luminaire the C51-S.
Close co-ordination with all parties both in design and construction ensured the smooth running of this new build.
