The £13m Pembrokeshire Technium in Pembroke Dock was completed in Autumn 2006. It was developed in partnership by Pembrokeshire County Council, the University of Wales Swansea and the Welsh Development Agency.
The Pembrokeshire Technium will provide accommodation suitable for technology businesses across a range of industry sectors, with a particular emphasis on the energy sector.

A mixture of recessed CFL downlights with decor rings and linear T5 pendant fluorescent direct/indirect was used to create a bright and pleasant study environment for both teachers and the young students alike.
The cloak and plant rooms were covered by the i20 (IP44) and i40 (IP65) respectively.

Close co-ordination between the design team was essential to create the perfect atmosphere in terms of lighting. Using a variety of pendent luminaires with uplight/downlight in the high ceiling areas ensured good well light spaces whilst maintaining good energy conservation. The project ended up as a 'one stop shop' with Glamox Luxo supplying a complete package for both interior and exterior.
A joint project between Glamox Luxo Ireland and Glamox Luxo UK supplying a mixture of commercial and medical lighting equipment. Co-ordination between all parties was key to the smooth running of this particular project, from initial design concept, through construction to a successful completion.

The key goal on this particular project was for a one stop solution and supply for all the non teaching areas. Decorative and energy efficient luminaires were the clients requirements, so using a variety of product families such as the A20 P & S, D20's for corridors and break-out areas, along with specialist sports hall luminaire the C51-S.
Close co-ordination with all parties both in design and construction ensured the smooth running of this new build.
