Smart luminaires
Luminaire with integrated sensor
We offer a wide range of smart luminaires with built-in sensors that allow different communication and control. To help you select the right smart luminaire for your project, we have created a guide to explain the sensor names and type of communication.
All our smart lighting fixtures are described by three letters in the product name. Below is a description that explains what each letter stands for.
The first letter indicates the level of the system:
S = Single-group, which allows you to control a single group of luminaires.
M = Multiple-group, which allows you to control multiple groups of luminaires.
C = Central monitoring, which allows you to monitor and control complete lighting installations.
The second letter indicates the type of sensor, for example:
P = PIR, M = Microwave, T = Twilight, H = High-bay
The last letter indicates which type of communication the sensor uses:
A = Stand alone, C = Corridor function, D = DALI, M = Master,
P = DALI with power supply, R = Relay-based, S = Slave, W = Wireless
Below you'll find more information about all of our sensor types.
Single group
Allows you to control a single group of luminaires.
SPR sensor
(Single group, PIR, Relay based)
The Glamox SPR Sensor is a PIR sensor with a relay-based ON/OFF switch for a single group of luminaires. Maximum load = 4 luminaires. Up to 2 masters in one system.
SPC sensor
(Single group, PIR sensor, Corridor function)
The Glamox SPC Sensor is a PIR sensor connected in a corridor function for controlling a single group of luminaires. The corridor function makes the luminaires light up at X % when there is presence in the room. When the room is unoccupied, the light dims down to Y % after the set time delay. After an additional Z minutes (the prolong time function), the light is turned off. Maximum load = 25 luminaires with the possibility of including several masters. Note: DALI-CF-type slaves only.
SMC sensor
(Single group, Microwave motion sensor, Corridor function)
The Glamox SMC Sensor is a microwave motion sensor connected in a corridor function for controlling a single group of luminaires.
SMR sensor
(Single group, Microwave motion sensor, Relay based)
The Glamox SMR Sensor is a microwave motion sensor with a relay-based on/off switch for a single group of luminaires. Maximum load = 6 luminaires, all of which can be masters.
SMW sensor
(Single group, Microwave motion sensor, Wireless)
The Glamox SMW Sensor is a microwave motion sensor with relay based on/off switch for a single luminaire, but with wireless communication to other luminaires using an SMW motion sensor. The sensor transmits on 1 channel and receives on 2 channels.
SMA/SMAB sensor
(Single group, Microwave twilight and motion sensor, stand-alone, B=Basic with no adjustment of parameters)
A single-group sensor. A microwave twilight and motion sensor with possible on/off functions. Suitable for stand-alone luminaires.
SMM/SMMB sensor
(Single group, Microwave motion sensor, Master, B=Basic with no adjustment of parameters)
A single-group microwave motion sensor with a corridor master functionality that can control up to 11 luminaires, where up to 5 can be masters.
STA sensor
(Single group, Twilight sensor, Stand Alone)
A single-group sensor. Twilight detection with on/off functionality. Suitable for stand-alone luminaires.
Multiple group
Allows you to control multiple groups of luminaires.
MPW sensor
(Multiple group, PIR sensor, Wireless)
Glamox MPW sensor is a combined PIR and daylight sensor for our Wireless ZigBee system. This sensor connects the luminaire to our wireless ZigBee solution. Designed for multiple groups to be integrated in a network just by using your phone as an BLE integration tool. For larger integrations a gateway can be added.
MPD sensor
(Multiple group, PIR sensor, DALI)
A multiple-group sensor. A PIR detector with a DALI-addressable sensor.
Central monitoring
Allows you to monitor and control complete lighting installations.
CMW sensor
(Central monitoring, Microwave motion sensor, Wireless)
The Glamox CMW sensor is a microwave motion sensor for our wireless central monitoring system. The sensor communicates with other units within a Glamox wireless system.
Smart luminaires with CMW sensor:
CHW sensor
(Central monitoring, High bay sensor, Wireless)
The Glamox CHW sensor is a high-bay PIR sensor for our wireless central monitoring system. The sensor communicates with other units within a Glamox wireless system.
CPW sensor
(Central monitoring, PIR sensor, Wireless)
The Glamox CPW sensor is a PIR sensor for our wireless central monitoring system. The sensor communicates with other units within a Glamox wireless system.
