They are also a recognition of the fact that we are never satisfied with what we have achieved so far, but rather always seek perfection in the performance of our products.
Special lighting has special demands and requirements, which leads to the need for the enhanced durability and stability of the materials and electronic parts used in the products. Standards and rules issued by international authorities cover these extended requirements in terms of design and functionality. The CE and ENEC marks
Each luminaire that leaves one of our production facilities has the CE mark. The CE mark indicates that the manufacturer guarantees that the relevant requirements for health and safety expected of the product have been fulfilled. Furthermore, all major luminaire series from Glamox have acquired the ENEC certification. The ENEC certification is a common certification agreement for lighting equipment that is accepted in the entire CEN area.
The CE mark is a mandatory conformity marking for products sold in the European Economic Area (the EEA). It is the manufacturer’s declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EU directives.
ENEC is the common European certification mark for lighting equipment that demonstrates compliance with European safety standards. The two-digit number indicates which certification body has issued the ENEC certification.
