The Sales Director Asia will be part of the GMO executive management team and have full strategical, tactical, and operational responsibility for the GMO sales activities in East Asia and Southeast Asia.
We are looking for a candidate with strong results in sales management from similar positions. You are a skilled person to power passionate sales teams, with strong communication, commercial, and leadership skills, and you represent a proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
Responsibility and main tasks:
Full P&L responsibility for GMO BUs in East Asia and Southeast Asia, including
continuous improvement of the top- and bottom- line
o GMO China (GSC)
o GMO Singapore (GFE)
o GMO Korea (GK)
Manage, organise and motivate approx. 30 employees
Build a future proof organisation and commercially oriented performance
Overall responsibility GMO East Asia and SouthEast Asia
Proactively identify growth- and improvement activities to build a profitable
Strengthen and further develop the Glamox Sales Management principles
Actively contribute in sales- and marketing activities towards important
customers in Asia
Further develop and execute the BU-strategy
Ensure solid cooperation and phase 0/1 activities with other GMO BUs to
optimize chances for winning key projects
Implement the LMS strategy in GMO BUs in East Asia and Southeast Asia
Overall responsibility for implementation of the Glamox System Platform in
GMO BUs in East Asia and Southeast Asia.
Ensure good communication with relevant other Glamox functions such as
product management, marketing, sourcing, production, logistics, and more
Actively participate in the GMO management team
