Description

A self-contained surface-mounted luminaire for emergency escape route and anti-panic lighting.

Technical specifications

  • Application

    1. The luminaire’s housing has high ingress protection and increased mechanical impact resistance, which makes it suitable for use in demanding spaces. It’s an excellent solution for sports facilities, shopping centres, industrial and public buildings. Its functionality has also been extended to include applications in outdoor conditions or at large mounting heights.
  • Emergency system

    1. Available as standard (S) for manual testing, self-test (ST) for automatic testing or as an addressable (DALI) system for automatic testing, monitoring and report generating. All self-contained emergency systems are available with 1- or 3-hour backup duration. A version for Central battery supply (Z) and (ZA) are also available.
  • Lightsource/Optic

    1. High-Power LED light source and optical systems with the following light distribution variants are available: corridor (CR), anti-panic (XWB), asymmetrical (ASY), wide-beam (WB) and narrow-beam (NR) to ensure that all emergency lighting needs can be met.
  • Body material and colour

    1. A white or black plastic housing made of self-extinguishing polycarbonate that withstands a flammability test at 850⁰C.
  • Battery

    1. LiFePO4 - Lithium batteries - Several decades ago, emergency lighting was the main driving force behind the development of new battery solutions. After the introduction of electric vehicles (cars, scooters and bikes) however, all research on rechargeable batteries and almost all production is switched to modern, lithium-based technologies. Emergency lighting should have the most reliable energy source available. The intense development of lithium battery technology can serve as a guarantee of long service life, efficiency and savings.
  • Connection

    1. 3- or 5- pole, 2.5 mm2 through-wiring connection terminal (except ORTUS-S 150: 5 (3) x 1 x 1.5 mm2)
  • Approvals
