Terminals (Midstream)

A tank farm is a collection of a large number of tanks that store crude oil and petroleum products at the same site. Tank farms that store crude oil are generally located in the vicinity of a refinery. Sometimes tank farms are also called oil depots or oil terminals. Types of sub-plant include gas, gas storage depot, LNG, oil, and oil storage depot.

For Glamox, energy saving is a very important factor, as not only do we develop and manufacture light fittings, but we also provide complete lighting systems (LMS, Light Management Systems), which again help to reduce energy consumption. We already have an excellent track record of helping customers reduce their maintenance costs and improve their energy performance in numerous delivered tank storage projects. Many of our customers have reported reductions in energy usage associated with lighting of up to 95 per cent. Glamox lighting solutions give operators greater control over how light sources affect the surrounding environment in terms of light pollution, light quality and Return on Investment (ROI).
